Thunderbird Park---rainforest home of the legendary Thunderbird -- is centrally located amongst a mind boggling number of National Parks and rainforest areas absolutely teeming with the ultimate wonders of the very real natural Australia.

Thunderbird Park welcomes you to share her treasures. Experience the ancient mystery of the Thunderbird and see the amazing geological phenomenen of the world's most impressive and largest deposit of Thundereggs. Fabulous kaleidoscopic gemstone formations inside hardened lava created by volcanic eruptions long, long ago.

It's a trip of discovery surrounded by some of the world's most splendid and tranquil national Parks and State Forests. Giant Fig trees, towering eucalypts, tropical tree ferns and palms attract colonies of koalas living in the wild. Native flora and fauna -- Australia at its natural and unspoilt best.

Timeless, with natural beauty in a story book setting. Crisp clean air and huge trees weighed down with magnificent Hoyas , Wisterias and other floral species add to the irresistable allure of Thunderbird Park. From high plateaus to tumbling waterfalls, virgin rainforests to natural Australian bushlands, bushwalkers will enjoy a limitless variety of vegetation.

Thunderbird Park has kangaroos, wallabies, platypus and koalas in the wild as well as an endless array of Australian birdlife. Added to this, there are horse riding trails and natural swimming rock pools on Cedar Creek and at Cedar Creek Falls.

A documented list of rare and distinctive plants found at Thunderbird Park is available for in-house guests. Then, at the end of your walk, it's a warm mountain welcome from the Rainforest Licensed Brasserie. Inviting country hospitality at its best! With its roaring winter fires or open Summer Courtyard, its great reputation is well deserved. Seasonal gourmet snacks and modern Australian Cuisine created from locally grown produce will tempt the most discerning palettes. The Rainforest Brasserie is tucked into a rainforest glade with visiting King Parrots, Rosellas, Lorikeets and other exotic native birds.
