Our Advemture 4 Kids Team
All of the activities at Thunderbird Park are structured to complement each other, build trust, leadership, cooperation & initiative. While the main ingredient is FUN, students also learn from the activities. We have an experienced team that takes care of everything from start to finish. Planning a school camp has never been easier!

Camp Thunderbird Facilities
There are 2 Bunkhouses
overlooking Cedar Creek’s pristine rainforest, cascading waterfalls and natural rock pools. The Upper Bunkhouse has a total of 8 rooms with 8 bunk beds per room giving a total capacity of 64. The Lower Bunkhouse has a total of 7 rooms with 8 bunk beds per room giving a total capacity of 56. A disabled ramp has been installed to give access to the Lower Bunkhouse. The total capacity is 120 with additional accommodation options available. Both the Upper and Lower Bunkhouses have a self-contained room with a bar fridge, table, chairs and tea/coffee making facilities. These two rooms are often occupied by teachers. Alternative or additional accommodation choices are available including camping and self-contained lodges.
Leaders S/C Accommodation
Each bunkhouse has male and female amenities within the same building as well as a central laundry facility with a token-operated commercial washing machine and dryer.
Sapphire Recreation Room
The recently-renovated Sapphire Recreation Room is adjacent to the Bunkhouses and is ideal for catering and group activities. This large, spacious room has a fully-equipped kitchen, outdoor barbecue area and an open fireplace. The recreation room is surrounded by lush rainforest in a private part of Thunderbird Park away from other accommodation and public areas.
Thunderbird Park VIP Activity Pass - Each student receives a year of free entitlements to Thunderbird Park's adventure activities.

Thunderbird Park has been operating Queensland school camps for more than 10 years, providing schools with a fun and educational experience that is loved by Gold Coast students. We’ve designed our packages with a focus on leadership, communication and team building. Our beautiful atmosphere is a great environment to learn new things and have a great time exploring nature and the environment. The rainforest is the best way to learn about geology!
