Thunderbird Park is an amazing wildlife and geological rich oasis stretching over 112 hectares which you can enjoy night and day as it also offers wonderful Tamborine Mountain accommodation. Translucent rock pools, inspiring landscapes, towering rainforests and star studded skies all add to the magic of Thunderbird Park. Here you will find the best Tamborine Mountain camping areas and caravan sites which all have their own rock bordered firepits - crates of firewood are available for purchase.

We have a variety of powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites available depending on your requirements. Our reservations team will do their best to allocate you sites that are perfect for you and guests based on the information you provide upon booking.

* PET FRIENDLY - Dogs are permitted throughout our caravan and camping sites however must be kept on a lead at all times.

 - Please note, Pit Bull Terriers are prohibited on the property at all times.

 - a $10 per pet fee is charged at the time of booking. Please note, guests must clean up after their pets at all times. 

 

 

There are 2 amenities blocks at Thunderbird Park. Guests will be advised which amenities they can use depending on where their booked sites are located. This information will be provided upon check in.

 

Showers are token operated. Tokens can be purchased at reception for $2 each. One token will provide you with hot water for a 5 minute period.

2 night minimum and each room has four sets of bunk beds (capacity 8) and is situated on the outskirts of the magnificent rainforest that surrounds Thunderbird Park.

 

Each bunk room contains the following:

There is a common verandah overlooking majestic rainforest and masses of eucalypts. Under the same roof, there is a men's and women's amenities. Shortly there will be a common laundry with a large token operated washing machine.

 

 

$90 twinshare - additional guest $10 per person

Linen packs available upon request. $20 per person including 2 sheets, 1 doona (incl cover), 1 pillow (incl pillow case) and 1 towel. A linen pack will be placed at the foot of the bed ready for you on arrival. If you prefer to have your bed made up, an additional charge of $10 per bed applies.
