Thunderbird Park, proudly located at Tamborine Mountain Glades, offers two onsite dining experiences. The Rainforest Restaurant and Lounge Bar provides a unique setting in the heart of the rainforest, serving a generous breakfast buffet, as well as seasonal à la carte lunch and dinner menus featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. For something more casual, the Terrace Café is open daily and loved by locals and visitors alike, offering barista-made coffee, light lunches, sweet treats, and plenty of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy the Scenic Rim surrounds.

BYO picnics are not permitted at Thunderbird Park. Instead, guests can enjoy a meal at the Terrace Café, open daily, or the Rainforest Restaurant & Lounge Bar, which serves lunch on Saturdays and Sundays. If you’d prefer a picnic experience, we’re conveniently located beside Tamborine National Park and Cedar Creek Falls, where picnic tables are available. Please note, if a picnic is set up within Thunderbird Park, our Park Rangers or team members will kindly ask you to relocate.
