Natural Bridge
A must see experience. Natural Bridge refers to a heavenly rock formation (essentially a cave) in Springbrook National Park that is home to a waterfall, glow worms and a colony of tiny bent-wing bats.
Springbrook National Park
World heritage listed Springbook National Park is a place of spectacular natural beauty. It's got everything including waterfalls, lush rainforest, ancient trees, and impressive views. The sheer natural beauty makes Springbrook an outstanding hinterland attraction.
Tamborine National Park
Tamborine National Park offers glimpses of the Pacific Ocean, a look at the famous Gold Coast skyline to the east and the rolling national parks of the Scenic Rim to the west.
There are some incredible trails and bushwalks so you can soak up the cool mountain air and immerse yourself in the lush rainforest.
Lamington National Park
Amazing views, wildlife you'll won't find anywhere else and opportunities to explore. Lamington has it all from densely forested mountains to raging waterfalls with convenient walking tracks linking all of these sights together.
Mount French National Park
Visit the ancient volcanic peaks of mounts French, Greville, Moon and Edwards.
These are recognised for their unique shape, as well as being local favourite bushwalking destinations. These trails also provide nourishing habitats of key conservation value for native plants and animals on south east Queensland.
Check out ThunderBird Park
One of the bigger hinterland attractions would have to be Thunderbird Park, a family park with something for everyone to enjoy.
Take your pick of bush walking, laser skirmish, swimming in natural rock pools and mini golf. Kids can learn about gemstone filled thundereggs and help discover them with the park's rock expert.
