Thunderegg fossicking is a unique activity for the whole family. You can discover your own hidden treasures from prehistoric volcanic lava in the world's largest Thunderegg Mine.
Admission includes a Souvenir Miner's Permit and the use of a pick and bucket for collecting your treasures.
Last entry to mine @ 2.30pm

10% off adult and child entry rate. Valid for Groups of 10 or more, with one payment only.
Fully-enclosed shoes must be worn (crocs are not acceptable).
Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.
We also ask if you could please bring a reusable or recycled bag to take your Thunderegg treasures home in.
We do have bags at the Rockshop, however, there is a charge of 20c per bag for these.
