AAbsolutely amazing place! Thunderbird Park is a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. The natural surroundings are stunning, and there’s no shortage of activities to keep the kids entertained all day—from adventure courses to mini-golf and gem fossicking. It’s the perfect spot for a family day out or even a weekend getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

We love it! There’s so much outdoor stuff to do. Ropes course, bush walks, rainforest creek, mini golf, fossicking and Dig it! Dig it is so cool! The restaurant is quite good, the cafe is good, there’s a lovely day spa and camping, glamping and we stayed in the newly renovated hillside rooms. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. There were lots of other families there too and the kids all played together. The fire pits were a great feature!

★★★★★

One of the best accomodations we’ve been in mount tamborine! The area itself is great for families cos there are heaps of activities to do inside the Thunderbird park which is a few metres walk from the accommodation. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the fridge has some treats and the coffee area was stocked with all sorts of tea from T2. Cedar creek falls is just 15minutes from it and the place is close to almost everything.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is provided?
All safety equipment, harness, helmet and gloves, is supplied, and every participant is fully instructed before starting. Qualified supervisors guide you throughout. Just bring closed-in shoes and a bit of nerve.
What are the minimum requirements?
You need to be at least 8 years old and at least 165cm tall. Please make sure you meet both requirements at the time of booking.
What's the maximum weight limit?
120kg, for safety reasons. The equipment and platforms are designed for a specific weight range, and exceeding this limit can compromise safety gear and increase risk. Let our team know at the time of booking if you have any concerns.
How long does it take?
Plan for around 3 hours to complete all courses, including equipment fitting and safety briefing. Each individual course takes roughly 45 minutes.
Do I need to be fit?
A moderate level of fitness helps, but this isn't designed to be an extreme physical test. Most people with a basic level of fitness can take part, and you can push yourself as much or as little as you like.
Do I need to complete every course?
No, you're free to choose the courses that suit your comfort level and skill, so you can tailor the experience to you.
What should I wear and bring?
Closed-toe shoes are required, no sandals or slip-ons, along with comfortable clothing suited to physical activity. Long hair should be tied back. Lockers are available for valuables, and we'd recommend removing jewellery before you start.
What if it rains?
TreeTop Challenge runs in the rain. On the rare occasion a session is cancelled for safety reasons, you'll be credited for the session and can rebook directly.
Can I bring a large group?
Yes, the course can accommodate groups of up to 150, including facilitated team-building programs. For larger groups, we'd recommend booking well ahead to secure your preferred date and time.
